El primer… / The first…

Las ultimas dos semanas han sido semanas de primeros.  Primera salida en coche, primera misa, primer paseo en carro (aparte de las visitas al medico), primer bano, primeras visitas de amigos.  Ademas que Alejandro estrena un conjunto nuevo todos los dias aunque los usa nada mas una vez porque ya casi ninguna ropa de recien nacido le queda, nacio hace 3 semanas y usa ropa de bebes de 3 meses!!!  Espero les gusten las fotos de estas semanas.

The last two weeks have been weeks of first.  The first stroller ride, first mass, first car ride (other than Dr. visits), first bath, first friend visits.  Besides everyday Alejandro wears a new outfit, but he only wears them once because he is already starting to wear 3 month old clothes even though he is only 3 weeks old.  I hope you like the pictures form these two weeks.

Los primeros dias en casa / The first days home

Los primeros dias en casa han sido bastante buenos; aunque no dormimos mucho en la noche (especialmente Sughey y la Sra Maritza) Alejandro se ha portado como todo un campeon.  El hace lo que tiene que hacer, dormir, comer y hacer sus necesidades.  Ya le ha hecho pipi y pupu a la Sra Maritza, Sughey y Liliana, yo he sido afortunado hasta ahora aunque lo he cambiado varias veces.

The first few days home have been very good; even thought we have not slept much (specially Sughey and her Mom) Alejandro has behaved great. He does what he has to do: sleep, eat and well, go to th bathroom.  He has “gone to the bathroom” on Sughey our friend Liliana and her mom more than once, I have been lucky even though I have changed him a few times.

Dia 2 en el Hospital / Day 2 at the Hospital

Ha sido u dia muy movido.  Sughey se recupera de su cirugia a una velocidad vertiginosa, hay que aguantarla para q no abuse.  El bebe poco a poco se acostumbra a este nuevo mundo, anoche tarde por fin abrio los ojos un ratito.  Su papa ya lo ha cambiado varias veces y tambien mejora la tecnica.  Hemos tenido muchas visitas de nuestros amigos asi que no hemos estado solitos (Gracias!) Ayer tomamos poquitas fotos entre responder sus mensajes lindos y hablar con telefono con ustedes. Casi todos los abuelos pudieron ver a Alejandro via Skype, a ver si al abuelito Walfredo se acerca a casa de alguno de los tios a conectarse para que vea a su Nieto.  Espero les gusten las fotos.  Prometo que cuando legue a casa el fin de semana con calma le tomamos mas fotos.  Antes de q se me olvide ayer el hicieron a circumcicion a Alejandro y ni lloro, ese salio fuerte como su mama!

Long busy day. Sughey is recovering from her surgery nicely and very quickly, we have to stop her from “abusing”  The baby is getting used to the outside world, yesterday “daddy” changed him twice and is improving his technique.  Wehave had many visits from our friends so we ae not being alone (THANK YOU!)  We took a few pictures yesterday, we promise more as soonas we get home.  We ready for we should send a nice abum this weekend.

Bienvenido Alejandro – Welcome Alejandro

Hoy a las 6:09 pm nacio Alejandro Pereda-Miguez. Sughey y yo estamos super feices de poder compartir con todos ustedes esta buena nueva.  Alejandro nacio con un peso de peleador de sumo de 4 Kilos 300 gramos… Gracias a su fornido cuerpo y su mega cabeza el Dr. William (Guillermo) Harvey decidio hacerle a Sughey una operacion cesaria.  Todo salio bien y la mama y el bebe estan descansando esta noche.  Por ahora estas son las fotos que tengo.  Ya les mandare mas durante la semana y seguro cuando llegue a casa este sabado.

Today at 6:09 pm Alejandro Pereda-Miguez was born.  Sughey and I are super happy to share this amazing news with you.  Alejandro was born with a Sumo wresting weight of 9.5lb or 9lb 7.7oz.  Due to his bull-like body and his gargantual head Dr. William (Guillermo) Harvey decided to perform a C-section on Sughey.  Everything went very well and mom and baby are resting tonight.  For now these are the pictures that I have for you, stay tuned and we will share some more during the week.
