Dia de playa en Noviembre / A beach day in November

El fin de semana pasado aprovechamos para ir un rato a la playa Clearwater.  El agua estaba un poco fria pero a Alejandro no le importo. Abajo hay unas fotos del paseo.

Last weekend we went to Clearwater Beach to take advantage of the warm temperatures.  The water was a little cold but Alejandro did not care. Below are some pictures from the day.

Las Tortas de Sughey 3 / Sughey’s Cakes 3

Queridos amigos y familia, sabemos que estamos en deuda con ustedes ya que tenemos mas de 2 meses aqui en Tampa y no hemos escrito… Prometo que esto cambiara pronto y escribiremos mas de nuestras aventuras en Tampa. Una cosa que queria compartir con ustedes es esta bella trota que hizo Sughey esta semana para un evento aqui en la oficina.  Les puedo decir que ademas de estar bella estuvo deliciosa!

Dear friends, we know we have not shared with you much about our new live here in Tampa since we moved about 2 months ago.  We will write more soon!  One thing I wanted to share with you is this beautiful cake Sughey made for an event here in my office.  I can tell you it was not only beautiful, but also delicious.

Han sido casi 3 meses desde la ultima vez que escribi, hemos tenido un verano movidito con viajes y actividades nuevas.  Aqui les pongo muchas fotos de Alejandro incluyendo su cumpleaños.

Feliz Dia de Las Madres / Happy Mother’s Day

Le  deseo a mi mami un Feliz Dia de las Madres.  Mami eres la mejor mami del mundo!  Tambien quiero desarle a mi Yaya (abuelita Maritza) y a mi abuelita Lissette un Feliz dia de las madres! Papi y Mami dicen que Ellas son las mejores mamis del mundo!  No quiero dejar pasar a mis bisabuelitas Marta, Raquelina y Manuela ya que abuelita Lissette, abuelito Walfredo y abuelito Paco dicen que son ellas las mejores mamis del mundo.  En fin, quiero desearles a todas las madres un Feliz Dia de la Madre!

I want to wish my mommy a Happy Mother’s Day. Mommi you are the best mom in the world!  I also want to wish my Yaya (grandma Maritza) and grandma Lissette a Happy Mother’s Day. Daddy and Mommy say They are the best mom’s in the world.  I also want to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to great-grandmom Marta, Raquelina and Manuela.  I want to wish all mothers a Happy Mother’s day!

Tambien quiero darle las gracias a mi amigo Marcelo Guimaraes por ser un gran musico, la cancion que oyen de fondo se llama waves y es de su disco Mind the Music. Alejandro en la Nieve / Alejandro in the Snow

Este fin de semana nos aventuramos a llevar a Alejandro a jugar con la nieve.  No peleo mucho para ponerse toda la ropa pero fue imposible ponerle guantes. Espero le gusten las fotos, y el “cortometraje abajo de las fotos”…

This past weekend we took Alejandro to play with snow.  He let us dress him for the most part but it was impossible to get him to wear his gloves.  Hope you enjoy the pictures and the short video below the pictures

Los ultimos 4 meses / The last 4 months

Mil disculpas por la tardanza, han sido unos 4 meses muy ocupados, aunque al parecer los proximos no van a ser menos ocupados… Alejandro crece, crece, crece y corre, corre, corre…Comenzo la guarderia 2 dias a la semana y ha pasado Enero enfemo.. pero por lo menos nos dice la maestra que le gusta una ninita… Espero difruten las fotos.

Apologies for the delay, it has been 4 months very, very busy and it looks like it will not get less busy…. Alejandro grows, grows, grows and runs runs runs, nonstop.  He started Day Care 2 days a week and has spent January sick… at least his teacher tells us he likes one of the girls in his class…  Hope you like the pictures
